I remember Laird Hamilton doing it in the 90s (80s?), but that was at Jaws and didn't have quite the magic that the above video had.

Love the way he can "pump" it, that'd be good exercise. But think I'd miss the lack of edge control, he's not exactly smacking the lip.

Foiling looks ungainly. I was more convinced by the SUP video that came out a little while ago but still there's so much pitching of the board in all the foil-board sports. Rider is always fighting for stable trim.

You could stand a chance if you've got young very strong legs and core strength, it looks like it is very much required to pump for that long, so that counts me out.
