we have some how managed to accumulate one SUP and seven surfboards. Does anyone know where I can get a good vertical storage solution for a covered deck area?

You can make one in an hour for Not too much or you can buy one for 3 times that. Solid Racks have some nice solutions but lots of options out there.

Thanks. Will check out solid racks. Sadly I can't do carpentry!

Hang from the rafters. Kinda on display, but out of the way.

or my version of the above with conduit instead of dowel, and some self tappers into it to hold it into position. The flex of the conduit means you can jam a bit more in there sometimes.

Another option is to buy a flat trolley from bunnings and then put ya racks on it, this way you can move your trolley around if required.

Aluminium fence panels from Bunnings. Remove a few slats. Cut to suit. You can use these mounting them higher at 45 degrees + so they just hold nose.
Alternatively go to your local tip shop and look for similar. Common in the past were steel metal slatted single bed base. These are strong enough to be cut in half and wall mounted. Cap with rubber chair leg caps
