We have a Honda CRV which came with roof racks which are quite small. How on earth do people carry a SUP board and a kayak or canoe At the same time?

My SUP goes on first. Flat and strapped down and my mates kayak is turned upside down and strapped down. No issues so far!

Edit: we do use the roll up yoga mats between the 2 to prevent slipping and damage. $3 from kmart

Just think yourself lucky its not a windsurfing rig,,, or you'd have to buy a van and trailer as well

Thats because us windsurfers like to have a choice of gear instead of getting dragged up and down beaches, into fences and around car parks!!

The part I can't figure out is how the missus is supposed to lift the SUP onto the roof racks on her SUV.??

Ahh, so that's your excuse for driving a pink Nissan Micra. It's okay, I am sure there is a windsurfer somewhere that has one too, so don't feel you need to justify it.

The windsurfer would have the trailer though, you are right about that. Sometimes things are too good to be held back by your choice of car.

Ok thank you. Was wondering if the weight of canoe/ kayak would damage the sup board. Appreciated. Ta
