recently published declassified photos provide better inside how Moon was conquered half a century ago.
1. Good preparation for crossing lakes and famous seas on the Moon is a key to success

2.but after some disaster stike

3.NASA found that must be better /safer way to conquer Moon ( in Hollywood or Area51? )

now it looks like a real thing
4.

and much more convenient. Since now astronauts on the long journey to the Moon could walk for a break to nearest cafeteria
then regenerated, come back to hard work and walk on the Moon for hours

to be realistic we need some low gravity shots too
but some other shots needed to be removed from the transmission completely.
Once Buzz forgot to wear a helmet in vaccum space. Some sharp viewers may spot the fake.

5. Back then we had only blue screen technology, now we have the whole CGI !

Look at the hands. Zip tie? that is another essential that saved many Appollo lives.
Beside obviously famous duct tape.I wonder if RD40 was invented already in the sixties? Could be handy too if something stack hard or engine don't want to start.
6. I don't remember seeing that

looking at the picture I wonder. shoes a bit fancy but could be ok to walk on the Moon. But bare hands may get a bit cold at negative - 170 celsius.
Maybe that was a technical reason NASA didn't use backpack rocket but rovers instead.
7 . I especially like this part. NASA expected strong winds on the Moons could cause serious problems

I am not a technical genius or rocket scientist but many others may spot and ask the same. Why on hell to use the jet engine on the Moon instead of the rocket? Suggesting propeller or helicopter could be a bit naive even at the sixties on the atmosphere less Moon, but the jet engine is not?
8. Some pictures from Moon flight too sharp in detail. So an effort was spent to make them less clear

isn't that a perfect view on astronauts in the cabin during Moon landing?
At least the dashboard doesn't look that complicated. Beside spedo and oil temperature gauges, not much to worry about.
Handbrake must be somewhere too once that parked vehicle on the surface, so didn't fly away by itself.
Then obviously reverse gear lever. You don't want to stack on the Moon of first gear for sure. You need to come back somehow.
10. Still quite difficult to understand how sophisticated equipment Neil Armstrong needed to operate.
That looks like XXII technology or even Startack

I would improve on the design by attaching maybe airbags - just in the case of crash landing on the Moon surface.
11. Then safe return to the Earth after successful docking to the mother ship.
some scaffolding could be edited later on

14. Still quite amazing how long NASA managed to keep the secret for so long since so many people have been involved

Original Lunar Lander will be soon on display at Disney Park.
So everybody could be Neil and Buzz. So much more convenient to ship lander from Area52 desert rather than from Moon surface to Los Angeles.
