I've been thinking about having a party for at least a year and it's getting closer. I want to have a party, 'cause I really haven't had one for for a long time.

I was thinking of having a suckling pig - one that's under 50 days old, a Zombie party and some other bad ideas - none of them had the the right ring to it. But last night I think I thought of something.

A Double Denim Party.

I reckon it would be ace to see a big group of pissed middle aged people dressed in double denim.

I'll bite -- WTF is double denim !!! (I'm over 50 - should I know and have I missed something important in life ???)

Otherwise known as a Canadian Tuxedo.

Oliver, go a Rubics cube party where every guest must come dressed where every item of clothing that they wear is a different colour. The challenge is that by the end of the night all items of clothing being worn must be the same colour. Could get interesting.

They were all really bad ideas.

All the little pieces have all magically fallen together. I've got my theme, I've practically picked my venue, got my budget ready for approval, thought about the guest list, which even includes a small seabreeze table.

It's double denim all the way.

Add some shafts for that special occasion.

Partying for at least a year is going to be pretty tiring. especially when everyone is middle aged. spose it will make up for not having a party in a while.

Toga party.
