According to science Flat Earth claims have more credibility then 12,000 mAh Chinese battery!

Maybe not the best idea to stock those for your light torch to lighten incoming dark ages. Apparently in the tests they show to contain only 1/10 of capacity claimed and doesn't last more then few months of weeks.

I have bought many of these amazing batteries and flash drives over the years.

When I cut them open they are full of sand. Australian seller, Oz stock, blah blah.

All just picture perfect ripoffs.

From the outside there is not one bit of difference, impossible to tell compared to the real ones, they used the exact same energizer labels.

Just like they do with the baby formula. Empty it out and fill it with crap and sell as original.

If this virus hits Australia, it will happen in winter. I'm heading back to the farm in May as there is work to be done. It will be interesting to see what happens during this time as we go into winter. Maybe I'll stay there and grow my own food.

I would go dried fruit,honey,dried beans,lentils,rice. Nuts too. Oils.

Do you need to freeze any of that lot? I thought they were already suitable for long term storage?

Its an interesting question, what would you store for food provisions if you had a long time to wait? If you had no power would it change things?

I wonder what the trade-off is. Do you concentrate on high energy foods that will last a long time and eat them sparingly, or do you stock up on low energy foods but eat more of them?

The preppers will be frothing.

No they won't. They would have already headed underground 2 months ago and turned off their mobiles in case someone traced them and their supplies. So they won't even know what's happening..

Yep, I figured I missed the boat, so left it. Looking at the AX200 chart for the last week, it just seems to be a forced correction that was overdue and has settled to a sensible value.

hard to tell though, it may go down another 10 percent next week. Then maybe switch back.
