Don't think there are any tidal bores in Aus, I haven't heard of any anyway.

No tidal bores or standing waves, but Missingham Bridge in the Richmond River at Ballina is a popular surfing spot

There's a tidal bore in the Daly River.
And according to Google there may be 2 others - up there in the north I guess where tides (and the crocs) are huge.
