Hi! My parents need help getting rid of a lot of wind and kite surfing gear they stopped using. I offered to list it on ebay for them but there's so much of it, and someone suggested this site. Because there are a lot of different things, I wondered if anyone has advice on whether a garage sale advertised to the local kite/wind surfing community would be a good idea? They are just looking to make sure everything goes to people who can use it, and would rather not list 5 harnesses etc. etc. separately. What do you think? Sydney, Northern Beaches area, is there an active community here to advertise to? Thanks!
Check out the Buy & Sell section on here. I think you'll find it is well used/viewed... you'll also get some idea of pricing...
I say here for sure
But you will need to be willing to freight, seems all the stuff that goes cheap on eBay is because the seller can't be bothered posting stuff
Hey Windystuff.
Where are you located as I'm sure there will be someone that could come over and help either with pricing or with taking the gear off your hands. What age is the gear as some of the older stuff is not really worth selling or putting prices on but rather donating it to people that will use it eg. friends or relatives. Good luck, If you are in Brisbane area I would be more than willing to help out.
I've bought and sold plenty of stuff on this web-site. There is a big turnover, and I think you will be pleased with the result you get.
Yep I've sold/bought a coupla things. Works really well. Photos (decent ones) are a good contribution to an advert.
Make sure you get your cut!
