WA IRC yachts at half way point in the Pantaenius event.

Western Australia's IRC competitors will line up again this weekend for a passage race on Saturday and a resail of the windward-leeward racing on Sunday. Teams are midway through the Pantaenius Australia 2015 WA IRC Championship.

Only the double-handed division completed their passage race on the previous race day. The winds were unfavourable for the scheduled windward-leeward races in divisions one, two and three so these fleets will try again.

For the moment, light and unstable winds are forecast for the Mayflower passage race on Saturday with the strength due to increase and be quite strong for Sunday's racing. The forecast is changing daily, at this stage anything could transpire from the winter weather conditions. The organisers of the Yachting WA event, Fremantle Sailing Club, will be prepared for a great weekend of sailing and shore side social activities for the competitors. Pantaenius is the sponsor of this championship and will again be showing their support out on the water and at the presentation ceremony each day.
