NSW Maritime is investigating the grounding overnight of a 12m timber motor cruiser at Broomes Head, on the North Coast. NSW Maritime Senior Boating Officer John Rowe said the vessel grounded on the beach before midnight. 'Two people were on board and managed to make it safely to shore,' he said. 'It appears the crew ran into some difficulties during the night and the vessel came ashore onto sand. 'The vessel is largely intact and there is no immediate risk of pollution, however, Maritime is keen to see it salvaged and clear of the beach as soon as possible.' Mr
