Velux 5 Oceans - Polish ocean racer Zbigniew Gutkowski is set to claim second place in the first leg of the VELUX 5 OCEANS solo round the world race. The 36-year-old, known as Gutek, is expected to cross the finish line off Cape Town tomorrow (Wednesday November 17). Gutek's arrival comes just a few days after American Brad Van claimed the top spot in the 7,400 nautical mile race from La Rochelle to Cape Town, the first of five ocean sprints which make up the VELUX 5 OCEANS.
