Mike Slade's UK maxi, ICAP Leopard will arrive in Sydney on Saturday 19 December, ready to race and hungry to beat the rest of the Rolex Sydney Hobart fleet to Hobart.
The 100 footer was unloaded off a ship in Port Kembla last Tuesday and over the last few days has had its mast re-stepped. The delivery sail from Port Kembla to Sydney will be the crew's first sail in Australian waters since 2007.
The yacht, with owner/skipper Mike Slade aboard, is due to sail through Sydney Heads between 3:30pm and 4:30pm (approx.) on Saturday 19 December.
Slade is keen for another tilt at the line honours title after finishing in second place in 2007, crossing the finish line in Hobart just 27 minutes behind Wild Oats XI.
