Dr Andrew Saies and his Two True team have won the 2009 Rolex Sydney Tattersalls Cup.
Its been a long day in Hobart with the International Jury only just announcing the protest against the IRC overall leader had been dismissed. While the initial hearing was scheduled for 10am, it was evident that the role of Nick Athineos' Beneteau 47 Kioni was crucial in the whole matter and she was one of the last boats to finish the race.
Kioni was disqualified for Sydney Harbour incident. Protests against Colortile, She's the Culprit and Two True were dismissed.
First and Second on IRC corrected time standings were two Beneteau First 40s' Two True (Andrew Saies), Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia and Wicked (Mike Welsh) from Sandringham Yacht Club. Thirs overall was Ian Mason's Sydney 38 Next.
Earlier today the IOR Farr 40 Aurora was also penalised. The International Jury imposed a 30% scoring penalty for a breach of RRS 41
