Future Australian champions and potential international sailors from Tasmania could emerge from The Showdown 2010 regatta today where more than 400 adult and youth sailors enjoyed spirited racing on the River Derwent. 'It's from big fleet regattas like this that come the future national champions,' said Nick Hutton, international race officer and principal race officer for this regatta, after all classes completed four races despite a delay of because of lack of wind this morning.
