More than 73,000 people have visited the 43rd Sydney International Boat Show staged at Darling Harbour over the five days, July 29 - August 3. Show owner and organiser, the Boating Industry Association of NSW (BIA), was 'absolutely delighted' with the attendance for the show, sponsored again by NSW Maritime. Understandably, the attendance was at its height over the weekend when 21,610 visited on the Saturday and a 'healthy' 24,289 on Sunday. Overall, the show recorded a two percent increase over the 2009 attendance which, while it may seem small, clearly demonstrates the show's appeal as similar exhibitions worldwide have
