Sometimes an idea is just meant to be! Just four years ago, Townsville Yacht Club with the strong support of Townsville based Sunferries staged the first Sunferries Magnetic Island Race Week, a winter regatta following on from Meridien Marinas Airlie Beach Race Week and Audi Hamilton Island Race Week. It was a brave step; however the success of Sunferries Magnetic Island has been well beyond expectations.
