'Tanguy Delamotte et Adrien Hardy -Initiatives-Novedia' La Solidaire du Chocolat
Tanguy de Lamotte and Adrien Hardy crossed the finishing line of the first run of the Solidaire du Chocolat from Saint Nazaire (France) to Progreso (Mexique) at 9h25 on Saturday 14th November (8 h 25 TU).

On their Class 40 Initiatives-Novedia, the youngest crew in the fleet moved into the lead on 1st November and held on to it, in spite of the persistent threat of their closest rivals, Telecom Italia (Soldini-D'Ali) and Chemin?es Poujoulat (Jourdren-Stamm).

Tanguy de Lamotte and Adrien Hardy take line honours of the first edition of this yacht race across the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea after 26 days 16 hours and 35 minutes covering almost 5000 nautical miles.

When they arrived, the Bay of Progreso lit up with fireworks to salute the sporting prowess. 'It's brilliant. We certainly didn't expect to see so many people. Thank you to the organizers and to everyone for this superb race. We are over the moon !' Before setting foot ashore, the crew has to undergo customs and health formalities. On the fishing boat quayside, welcoming committee is waiting to celebrate their success in pure Maya tradition.
