Tasmania's young Sabot sailors got a taste of open water sailing in Bass Strait at the weekend when a fleet of 25 boats from around the State contested the Tasmanian Sabot Sailing Association's Northern Regatta at Wynyard on the north-west coast. Wynyard Yacht Club will host the Australian Sabot Championships over 10 days this summer, from 27 December to 5 January, with more than 120 young sailors and their families expected from around the nation.
