SOS Ocean Racing's Ian Thomson is now 23 days into his around Australia record attempt and well on his way to Tasmania. With yesterday's perfect day of sailing, it was not what Ian was expecting for the Southern Ocean. 'With winds gusting between 15 to 23 knots, clear skies, I was having a very good day of sailing.' Over night the winds started to ease off very slowly to round about 10 to 15knots.
