Route du Rhum - Crossing the finishing line at 1.30 a.m. French time on Monday 15th November, Safran took third place in the Route du Rhum-La Banque Postale 2010. This result confirms Marc Guillemot's determination and perseverance throughout the 3550 miles of this long and extremely demanding race. All of those taking part agree that this ninth edition was one of the most tiring and hotly contested since 1978 not only because the fleet that set out on 31st October was of a particularly high standard, but also because the weather conditions meant that the solo sailors were never able ...
