The Brumby Labor Government is busy stocking formerly drought-affected lakes and reservoirs so more Victorians can enjoy recreational fishing. Helping stock fish at Cairn Curran Reservoir, Minister Responsible for Fisheries and Member for Ripon Joe Helper said water levels had increased considerably in lakes around Ballarat, Maryborough, Castlemaine and Ararat. 'This is really great news for freshwater anglers,' Mr Helper said.
