Perth International Regatta (PIR) competitor entries are coming in 'thick and fast' generating excitement and anticipation for event organisers at Perth 2011. The PIR, held from 16th to 21st November 2010, will be the biggest sailing event ever to hit the shores of Fremantle, Western Australia. Perth 2011 has already received over 200 entries from 37 nations. Perth 2011 Event Director John Longley said today, 'It is a nice situation to have such a large number of athletes committed to coming to Perth however, we are hopeful that we haven't missed any athlete that wishes to compete as entries must ...
