The distinctive Cunard liner Queen Mary 2 slipped quietly into Sydney Harbour shortly after 5pm this afternoon and well after the harbour had cleared of the hundreds of yachts participating in the Audi Sydney Harbour Regatta.
Accompanied by a modest welcoming entourage the Queen moved gracefully up the harbour, spotlit by sunshine under greying skies.
