The full and update/revalidation Safety and Sea Survival Courses are essential training for all offshore sailors. The Ocean Racing Club of Victoria's next SSSCs will commence on Sunday, September 19, 2010. Therefore, anyone intending to head South at Christmas for the first time or who is going to be out of date by then, please take heed. The timing of the courses is also designed to ensure you are qualified for the Melbourne to Stanley race in October. Over the last few years, a great number of cruising enthusiasts have also partaken in the training, to ensure their own safety.
