The 2010 Melbourne to Vanuatu race has certainly had its fair share of twists and turns. It was decidedly flat early, then the boats rocketed along, two had to retire and lately, the current and waves are conspiring against each other to slow the fleet down. By Saturday afternoon, there's still around 38.6% or 727nm to go, more than whole Sydney Hobart, for the race leader, so it remains possible for virtually anything to occur.
