Melbourne to Stanley update. The evening news will have shown images from Derby Day with the punters all scrambling for cover as the rain fell. The Melbourne to Stanley started with 32 boats and as of the 1805hrs radio schedule, there are just 16 remain racing. The wet weather will have dampened spirits no doubt, but the real killer, has been the lack of wind, with many boats reporting in that they had no breeze at all.
