Melbourne to Stanley 2010 - As there were only 11 boats to arrive in Stanley in North West Tasmania from the fleet of 32, the gathering for presentations may have been a little smaller than anticipated, but the enthusiasm and smiles well and truly made it seem like the full size crowd was in attendance. They certainly deserved their glory, for they had endured a lot of patches with no wind to speak of and almost unending rain in their quest to get across Bass Strait. Neither of those are pleasant on their own and downright depressing when combined together. ...
