Teams were on the water today for the first official practice of the Louis Vuitton Trophy Dubai regatta and attended the Opening ceremony on Friday. The breeze was light and the sky hazy; the teams were happy to be back on the water and the scene was being set for two weeks of intense match racing. Two Emirates team New Zealand yachts - NZL92 and NZL84 - and two supplied by BMW Oracle Racing will be used by all teams. A second practice day will take place on Saturday and teams start racing in earnest on Sunday. ...
