Young sailors in Hobart's Guildford Young/St Virgils Colleges team are leading an Australian bid to beat New Zealand schools in the Interdominion schools team racing championship which began today on Kawau Bay, north of Auckland. Sailing International 420 dinghies on a day of light winds, the three crew team from Hobart is placed equal third in the competition and best placed Australian school against a strong line-up of three New Zealand school teams.
