The NSW 12ft Skiffs are once again hitting Sydney harbour for the fifth annual Garde sprint series. The regatta will be run for the first time out of Woollahra sailing club this Sunday the 28th. The first race starts at 2pm with back to back racing the order of the day.

Reigning champions on Andrew Short Marine (Michael Spies and Damien Vlotman) will be hard to retain the title.

Although with a hot fleet fresh from Interminion racing will push them all the way. Dimension Polyant (Nick Press and Brad Yabsley) recently crowned Interdominion champion along with Gemmell Sails (Murray Press and Ben Gemmell), current Australian champion will be among the top contenders. Garde (Brett Hobson and Alex Johnson) will be fighting hard to keep the sponsors happy by taking out their own event.

A spectator ferry leaving Rose Bay ferry wharf at 1:30pm costing $10, this is a great way to see the action close up. The races are based around the ferry and spectators viewing so spectators will not miss a thing. Food and drink are available on board.
