Revenue from the sale of recreational fishing licences has funded 10 more projects to improve fishing opportunities across the state. Most of the projects involve promoting recreational fishing to the community through participation in angling clinics and festivals. The program is open year round for small grants up to $5,000. Since its launch in March 2010, the small grants program has funded 31 projects worth more than $97,000.
