First Donations for Sailors Help Haiti!

We'd like to thank Chris Hoskings who donated two spinnakers from the yacht Ran on behalf of its owners Niklas and Katherine Zennstrom.

Ran, a 72 footer from the UK, came to Sydney to compete in the Sydney to Hobart Yacht race and is the first boat to get onboard and help the people of Haiti.

Sailors Help Haiti is a group inspired by Tom Braidwood. 'We are trying to collect old spinnakers that we can convert into shades and tents. We are lucky to have North Sails Australia and The Australian Haiti Christian Mission on board to help convert the sails and then get the shades to Haiti. Now we just need more sails!!!'
