Farr 40 Class Association - Is it permissible to have a carbon fiber headboard, or in place of that a batten as a headboard stiffener? Yes. The headboard or headboard stiffener may be constructed from, Carbon Reinforced Plastic, Kevlar Reinforced Plastic, Glass Reinforced Plastic, Aluminum, or Steel. The entire headboard shall fit within the dimensions defined in the following diagram 31. This Interpretation is effective September 1st, 2010.
