Emerging Nations Programme (ENP) Regatta was bound to be a success with 40 competitors from more than 10 nations racing on the World Championship courses today. Light winds in the morning meant the racing was at a slow pace but this did not stop the athletes from 'giving it their all'. The seabreeze picked up for more favourable sailing conditions in the afternoon. In only his first ENP Camp, Reneric Moreno, of the Phillipines, took out the Gold Medal winning position in the RS:X class, with Australian RS:X Champion Tim Gourlay coming in second.
