World number one Ranked 470 sailors Mat Belcher and Malcolm Page (AUS) tallied up three keepers during the opening day of the Men's 470 racing at the Delta Lloyd Regatta, the fifth ISAF World Cup event this year. The day's 4,5,9 places them just two points out of third place among the 75 boats that started the regatta. Belcher/Page peeled off nearly as many layers of gear as their coach, Victor Kovalenko, when they returned to the sailing center this afternoon.
