The re-structure of offshore sailing in Western Australia looks set to pay dividends with a huge roll-up for this Saturday's season opener, the 42nm George Law Foundation Race. The race, conducted by Fremantle Sailing Club to commemorate the life of club stalwart George Law, takes Archambault Offshore Series competitors around Rottnest Island and back home through the Challenger Passage between Garden and Carnac Islands. The Sailing Products Coastal Cup and Double-Handed fleets do a shorter course inside the islands. A total of forty six yachts are set to hit the start line.
