Delta Lloyd 470 World Championships top 470 sailors from Britain remained in positive moods at the close of the Delta Lloyd 470, which concluded in The Hague on Sunday (18 July) with a fourth for Nic Asher and Elliot Willis, and a fifth place for Sarah Ayton and Saskia Clark at their first World Championship together. Skandia Team GBR's medal hopes faded on Saturday's penultimate day when leading Brits Luke Patience and Stuart Bithell were forced to sit out of two races after sustaining rudder damage, leaving two-time World Champions Nic Asher and Elliot Willis to fight for the podium
