The recent pre-start for the Brisbane to Great Keppel Race saw the coming together of two extremes of size. At one end of the scale was the 30m Bakewell-White Maxi 'Lahana' and the other was the new Bakewell-White Mini 650 of Queenslander Scott Cavanough and his 'Skippy Challenge'. 'Lahana' went on to take line honours and add yet another race record to her honours board, but unfortunately the Mini was denied entry.
