Ahead of the Rex Gorell Prestige Etchells Australian Championship in January, the Royal Geelong Yacht Club is holding a Pre-Nationals event this weekend, with three races sailed on Saturday and another three scheduled for today, Sunday. Geelong was cloudy and overcast with no rain and 12-14 knots of breeze as the first two races of the Pre-Nationals event got underway. By the third race start the breeze had dropped away to five knots but steadied and as so often happens on Corio Bay, different breezes swept across the bay throughout the race.
