Recreational anglers and community groups across the state joined forces and volunteered part of their weekend to clean up local rivers and lakes. Executive Director of Fisheries Victoria, within the Department of Primary Industries Anthony Hurst said more than 140 volunteers from 12 organisations participated in the inaugural Clean a Stream Day on Sunday September 26.
