The 2010 Mariner Boating Rally season gets under way in Turkey and Greece next week. The Aegean Yacht Rally will kick off from Kusadasi and cross immediately into Greece and Pythagorion on the Island of Samos. Pythagorus, who was born here, was clearly a great mathematician although the modern day Greeks seems to have lost the plot when it comes to adding up simple arithmetic. It's then on down through the wonderful islands of the Greek Dodecanese group; Arki, Patmos, Lipsos, Leros and Kalimnos before the rally fleet exits Greece and re-enters Turkey in Bodrum.
