29er Europeans - Annemiek Bekkering and Kaj Bocker of the Netherlands had a tough day on the course with three races held for the opening of the finals for the 29er Europeans being sailed in in Costa Brava, Spain. Bekkering and Bocker commented, 'we made some mistakes during the day, they but we were not alone.' The duo continue to lead the 114 boat European Championship in conditions for the day of 8-12 knots. The top female team of Jeanine Olrik and Frederikke Graversen of Denmark won the day coming into the gold fleet qualifying 25th, but showing their performance
