The ridge and high will weaken and slowly move eastwards into southern Queensland today and offshore into the Coral Sea on Saturday. Observations: At 0630hr surface winds over the Airlie Beach area were out of the SSW averaging around 4-8kn (a mix of land breeze and synoptic wind) and the temperature was around 10 deg.
