Please note:

West Coast zone – open season

• Five fishing days only – first Sunday of each month

• Fishing time: 7:00 am – 8:00 am.

• The area north of Moore River is closed until further notice.

Northern zone

• This zone is closed until further notice.

Bait ban

• The use of abalone as bait is prohibited.

Abalone fishers also need to make sure they have the appropriate licence available for $44.00 which can be purchased online or from any Fisheries office. .
