Boating may still be largely a male domain but for the second year running the peak state recreational marine industry body Marine Queensland has a female - Sharon Russell- as the president of the board of directors. Director of the Riviera Syndication Sharon Russell was unanimously re-elected to the role she first took over in 2010. In a time where both the Federal and State Governments have been called to look at introducing legislation to address the issue of limited numbers of females on Company Boards, Ms Russell will again take the helm after Marine Queensland elected its new board ...
