Yes it's great BUT what idiot decided to recess the nut for one of the pivot bolts into soft plastic so it just spins around when you try to undo it! If your lucky you can put a clamp over the plastic and squash it to stop it spinning but if that doesn't work your left with drilling it out. Very dump design when the easy solution is either not to fully resets the nut or better still use the same design bolt as they did on the other pivot where you can get a 5mm hex key in both ends.
i think I'm going to cut some of the plastic away before I put it back together so I can get a thin wrench onto the nut in future.
Got the fix, get one of these, just like the other pivot uses but 55mm long (the other side is 50mm long) then you can push the head of this into the hex hole of the clamp, tight but will go then you can put a bolt in the other end and hey presto no more stupid nut.
I haven't had an issue after pulling a few apart but anyway - if you have a captive nut spinning then stick a small screwdriver in next to it and twist hard. Now it's jammed next to the nut, stops it spinning
Also will add that as it's a captive nut it's not a nyloc
Thus it must have turned due to bolt jamming up - always worth a drop of WD40 on it a few hrs before starting

The screw driver trick has worked in the past but not this time
Yup, very much the same problem here. Couldn't get it open when brand new, can't still get it open no matter the tricks. Cutting this one and buying new hinge (or was it the lever side?) seems an only option. And just for switching the rigging side. Totally agree, stupid design.
