Thumbs Up

Still a newb.
Just wanted to share that after a wife and a kid that travelling to places that didn't have "waves" made me reevaluate what made me happy: being on the water.
Decided to not pack a surfboard to Noosa but, instead, take a MASSIVE backpack to Krabi, Thailand with a JP ExploreAir, a Duotone Irig, an electric car pump and a harness, just in case ??.
Just brilliant
The sail has been bending under what can possibly be 12+knots, the harness (and old rope lines attached onto the "centre straps") has kinda worked, but I've been happily tootling around the islands every time I see the trees shake and I've got 15mins to grab the things out of the boot of our rented Toyota Yaris and let the pump do it's thing.
I wish they could invent a 'planing' Irig for better practice but for now it sure beats watching wind on tropical water and sitting in the shore break!
PS- I flew Jet Star and no excess baggage!

Hope everyone is having as much fun sailing as this goof over here. Xox
