Ive been pleasantly surprised with crowd numbers so far.good timing yesterday at local point surfing with 2 others on outside and only half dozen on the inside section.Bit busier today and a much slower swell but still not too bad.Bring on sunday for jump in swell with good winds.happy easter frothers
Here on the Sunny Coast the secret is to go to the more open stretches as far from towns as possible and choose the worst bank.
Couldn't cope with this sort of stuff. The bloke on the finless board seems a bit of a cu... ... inconsiderate. :
Without a doubt one of the most dangerous breaks on the east coast,it's a beautiful wave and it can be very inviting at times ,and when you go out,it can change in an instant crowd wise,or one selfish act and it's game on !,it's like the crowd will only tolerate niceness for so long, and then collectively lose there sense of fair play, and start being dangerous a.holes, probably all decent people, but turns to dog eat dog very quickly !!!

^^just needs a few foilers out there to really mix it up, bit of a shame as now Broken Head is pretty much the same, locals must be so over it

We are !I started in Byron 12 years ago, moved to broken for 4 years ,then to Lennox,6 years ago,and now it's getting over run by Byron crew as well, ripple effect Ha ha ,I mostly surf my local on low to middle tide to stay away from foilers as it's all reef not good for those expensive foils $$$
