Thumbs Up

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to head back home from Perth to The Netherlands and I would like to take two 9'2" longboards back on the plane. QANTAS offers a maximum of 277cm in length, which is great, but a little bit too short for the 9'2" + surfboard bag.

I contacted QANTAS multiple times. Some customer service agents stated that it wouldn't be a problem to bring the boards, as long as we declared them on the forehand. However, a couple other service agents and the QANTAS website have been telling us that the boards should be taken by the QANTAS freight department. The freight department cannot give us more information either.

We are confused so we are curious if someone has any experience in bringing a longboard with QANTAS and/ or someone can tell us a bit more about the costs we can expect if the boards have to be send as freight.

Thank you in advance!
