Jamie O'Brien does it again in his latest episode of Who is JOB 5.0, defies belief in some of the craziest stunts surfing has ever seen. This episode, he drops into Teahupoo, on fire. "I posted something on instagram saying 'What do you want to see me do?' and I got a response which was "FIRE! light yourself on fire!" I was like, oh, that would be insane!" While some guy running around in a fire suit is like, so 90's... Doing it while surfing is a juxtaposition to say the least. Watching some guy take a blowtorch to his mates wetsuit as he jumps off the back of a jetski isn't something you see everyday, in fact they claim it's the first time it has even been done. They of course tried it out a few times before dropping into 12ft Teahupoo, first with some flat water trials and then for a real surf in less-than-epic conditions before the big day arrived. The big day in question, is 'that' day at 'Chopes'. You know that wipeout from Niccolo Porcella? The one people are calling the heaviest wipeout ever? That happened just after the fire session.
